Want to make your own camera?  Learn how cameras work by making a simple pinhole camera.  You’ll take pictures and learn about photographic composition.  You might even get to try your hand at PhotoShop or another photo editing program in our computer lab!  Children need to have a digital a camera to use for this course.

Students will manipulate their digital photos in our computer lab and learn to superimpose images, change the color of pictures, and add caption balloons.  They will do sun prints and critique each other’s work.  Some of their matted photographs will be on display at our Open House.  Ribbons will be awarded to students with outstanding entries in the composition competition.

Photographs were judged on the basis of composition, focus, subject and creativity.  Winners were awarded ribbons for their efforts.

It was amazing to see how much these children learned and produced during their eight days of instruction!
